Rates are graduated, so each band applies only to the seats inside it — the same way income tax brackets work. Adding a seat never increases the price of the seats you already had.

A user with at least one paid licence assigned, across all connected tenants, measured at the last scan. Unlicensed accounts, guests, shared mailboxes and resource accounts are not counted — you are not billed for the accounts we tell you to stop paying for.
Your seat count falls as you act on findings, and so does your bill.
The Instant Audit stores nothing at all — it runs entirely in your browser and the data never reaches us.
Continuous has to store something to show you history: user principal names, display names, licence assignments and sign-in dates. Full scan bodies age out after 90 days; the derived comparisons are kept so your trend survives. Everything is read-only — no permission we hold can change anything in a tenant.
It isn't, for the finding part. A competent admin can pull
subscribedSkus and signInActivity and get most of the same list.
What you're paying for is that it keeps running, tracks what actually got recovered over time, and separates licences genuinely released from findings that merely stopped being flagged. That last distinction is the one that decides whether your savings number survives a client's finance team checking it.
If you already run CIPP and it's working, keep it.
Only if you tell us what you actually pay. By default we use published list prices, which almost nobody pays — on a realistic CSP discount that overstates the figure by about 25%.
Enter each tenant's real per-seat rates during onboarding and the numbers become exact. Any report leaning on list prices says so, in the report.
Cancel any time; monthly billing stops at the end of the period, annual is refunded pro rata. Export everything as CSV before you go.
Revoking our enterprise application in a tenant cuts our access immediately, without asking us. We detect the revocation and stop scanning.
Not yet. Verification is in progress, and until it completes the Microsoft consent screen shows an unverified-publisher notice. Some tenants block unverified multi-tenant apps by policy.
We'd rather tell you that here than have you discover it on a consent screen in front of a client.
